How To Boot Any system Using only USB Pen Drive or Memory Card or CD








Sometimes your hard disk Crash or you want to access anyone's system without having knowledge of password. Then this technique is very useful for you.

Prerequisite

  1. A Minimum of 512MB capacity of  PenDrive.
  2. A Linux Operating System. Here I use Puppy 5.5 Linux operating system (165MB) Because of its Low Size and Low Resource consumption.
  3. USB Creator Tool ( I prefer Linux Lili for this ).

How To Install Puppy Linux In USB Pen Drive

first of all you need to download Precise Puppy 5.4.3 in your system. Click here to download. This is an .ISO file of 165MB in Size. So,it will take not too much of time to download.
After downloading precise puppy (5.4.3 ISO file) in your system you need to download a small software to create bootable USB. So, you can download a great tool called Linux Live USB creator. Download Linux USB creator from Here.
Now you need a pen drive minimum of 512 MB.

First of all you need to “Format” it in FAT32 format.

Run “Linux Lili”  Tool (keeping the pen-drive connected to USB port and choose it from option as shown below).

Now choose your linux puppy ISO file where you have downloaded.

Mark on ” Hide Created Files on Key” and Format “The Key in FAT 32″ .

You don’t need to mark on third option “enable Launching Live In Windows” because it will require additional download for virtual box.

Now click on the lightning icon to start the installation

That’s It Now your PEN Drive is ready Just boot your system by pressing Boot Key ( usually F8, F12) to choose USB Pen Drive just you do in case of boot from CD while formating a system.

How To set Boot Priority Order

set your USB boot priority First from BIOS by pressing DEL key or F2 depending on your system to enter into BIOS.
